Tribal Contemporary Fusion

Slide1Slide2   A beautiful look that I’m seeing more and more of is a Tribal Contemporary Fusion. I have seen this pop up in publications such as Australian House & Garden May & August 2016 as well as The Sun Herald’s Sunday Stellar Aug 28 2016 to name a few. I also saw many products at the recent Décor + Design trade show. This look comprises of clean contemporary lines with materials such as timber, concrete, leather and stone that layers and cacoons you in a tactile sense. The palate can include whites, sand, tan, black and greys. Add gorgeous ethnic pieces such as hand calved stool/side tables, wooden bowls, sculpture, headdresses including Juju feather hats, black and white photography, hides and beads. This becomes features that you can’t help touch and want to understand their stories of where they came from and who made them. If you want to know anything more about the “Key Pieces” in my Moodboard, please let us know. Enjoy Elissa SABLE Interior Decoration & Design.
