Sable offers full service interior design to residential, commercial and property development customers across Melbourne. Our service offering is flexible to meet your needs and budget and may include elements such as:

  • Floor plan concepts
  • Internal fixtures and fittings including kitchens, bathrooms, laundry, flooring, door hardware and feature lighting
  • Internal and exterior colour consulting
  • Soft furnishings including window treatments
  • Mood boards
  • Personal shopping and furniture sourcing
  • Working with your builder using their preferred cabinet makers, plumbing suppliers and flooring companies.


Our Process

Initial consultation

Unlike many Interior Designers, there is no initial consultation fee for this meeting, unless travel time to and from the proposed meeting location is estimated at more than an hour.

The initial consultation is really about the sharing of information. I will show you examples of my work and explore how I may be able to help you. Together we will discuss anything and everything that is central to your lifestyle or work space, getting to understand your requirements and exploring your style, as we want to know as much as possible about our customers, so the design process is as streamlined as possible.

Design process

Upon Sable being appointed, we may need to arrange another appointment time to measure up and photograph for reference.

Over the next week or two (depending on the scale of the job), Sable will prepare a concept, often using both a mood board and report, outlining paint colours, fabrics and fixtures and fittings. The mood board could be an electronic version, perfect for photos, or a Foamcore mood board which would include samples of hard surfaces such as tiles, laminates, wood, stone bench tops and fabrics. If concept floor plans or cabinetry is required, CAD computer generated drawings will be used.
